Silky smooth and hair free!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Okay, I'm not going to lie, the first time I used it, it stung! This is coming from a girl that waxes everything from her armpits, brazilians, legs and arms and plucks her eyebrows and armpits. After using this epilator for about a sq inch or two on my leg, I couldn't feel the pain any longer. I got used to the pain, it hurt at first because I'm not used to plucking my leg hairs but honestly, the pain isn't bad at all. It's so much faster than waxing my legs, and saves me money and time! It caught every single strand of hair and I was left with smooth skin. I didn't have much irritation either. I pretty much got addicted because it was kinda fun watching the hair disappear as I rolled the epilator across my legs. Two weeks later, my hair finally grew back...great perk in my book! AND I did notice that it was noticeably thinner. I've used a Revlon epilator in the past and it was poor quality, my hair would snag and it didn't catch all the hair the first time. After that experience I gave up epilating until I came across this one. I was going to stick to just using it on my legs but one night I didn't have time to bust out my wax warmer as it takes time to heat up the wax so I ended up epilating my armpits and I'm pretty impressed with how it got every single strand of hair. It's been a week and I haven't seen them the hair grow back yet!

Great product but not for sensitive skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This product may be perfect for some people, but not for me. The product was well thought out with the consumer in mind. The device was attractive with a little bit at sparkle that made a typically unpleasant task more fun. I loved the number of attachments and that there was a special attachment for every conceivable use. The cordless feature made it much more user friendly and the wet and dry options gave me a choice about how I wanted to use it.
Each time I used this product was very uncomfortable due to my very sensitive skin. It also didn't get every hair which might have been my fault due to the discomfort. The discomfort did go away a few minutes after use so if you are a stronger woman than me this may be a great solution to your hair removal needs. I'm sure that if I had thicker skin it would have worked great for me and am disappointed that once again my sensitive skin reduced my hair removal options.

Better than others

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've used epilators in the past and this one is less painful. I wouldn't say pain free, but better than others that I've tried. I ised it to remove peach fuzz on my face. I didn't use it on eyebrows, but did use it everywhere else on my face. My skin was smooth afterwards. It didn't cause any numbs or pimples. love that it has a shaving option and different size attachments. I used the shaver on my arms and it worked really well.

Love it! Cuts back on shaving time

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Thank you Bzzagent for picking me to try out the Braun Silk épil 7! I am no stranger to hair removal. (Waxing, epilating, shaving, tweeting, threading, etc.) I have PCOS, so I am a bit on the hairy side.
I usually shave my legs every day. When the Braun Silk épil first arrived, I had about a days worth of hair growth on my legs. The epilator was able to pull most of it out. It felt a tad bit uncomfortable, but not painful. I was more sensitive on my knees and right over my leg bone. It does leave your skin red and bumpy so don't plan on going out right away. I would use it at night before I go to bed and would still be a little red in the morning.
After about three days of using the epilator on my legs, my legs are still smooth and I have not had to shave for about 4 days now. I make sure to exfoliate with a loofa sponge to prevent ingrown hairs.
I tried it on my arms and it did not hurt. BUT I tried it on my armpits and it hurt BAD! I think the more you use it, the less painful it will be. I am too scared to try it on the bikini area. I have not tried it on my face because I have sensitive skin.
What I like about the Braun Silk Épil:
Cordless, can be recharged for an hour to get about 40 minutes of use
Cuts back on shaving time
Smooth legs for longer periods of time
Different attachments for sensitive areas
Bright light to see small hairs - don't look directly into the light it's so bright it blinded me lol!
Small brush to clean hair out of the epilator
Plastic of the epilator is glittery lol
Out of all the epilators I have tried in the past, this one is the most painless

Fantastic product

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is just the product I've been looking for. I've been using Braun epilators since I was a kid and this version has all the things that I ever wanted - cordless (huge!), powerful, painfree, portable, long battery life and good attachments. Plus, the fact that it's both wet and dry is amazing!
I took it with me on vacation last week (without charger) and it was just what I needed to tame any random growths.
Another advantage is that it's not that loud - previous versions were quite loud but this is good.
The only con is that I'm not sure I feel comfortable using the facial attachment but that might just be me than the product itself.

Great for bikini area and touch ups

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This little gadget works great ! I was a little weary at first, but that soon went away.
I used it on my legs, bikini area, and face. I expected it to hurt a lot more than it did.
At first it kind of made me jump when I felt it pull the hair, but it didn't really hurt, it just tickles/itches for a second.
It could take a while to do your whole leg, but I thought it was really helpful when I missed some hairs, and around my knees and ankles, where I usually end up cutting myself with a razor.
On my face, it was nice to not have to go to a salon or try to use wax at home (no sticky mess).
I could also see using this between bikini waxes where hair is growing out, but you're not ready for another appt.

First Time to Use the Braun Silk-épil 7
on September 18, 2015

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This review explains my first experience with the Braun Silk-épil 7.
I have used a Braun epilator previous to this one, so I was somewhat familiar with the process--aka I knew it hurt and didn't let that affect my review. I don't blame this particular epilator for that. I was very impressed with the sleek design of the Silk 7. It fit my hand much better than previous models, and the LED light was very handy. I wish it was a little brighter though. I also liked that it came with all the attachments, brush, and bag.
I used this for the first time in the shower to try out the "wet" feature. The heat from the shower water helped soothe my legs a bit, but the water made this device much harder to use. It took me a good 30 minutes to remove the hair on only the bottom half of both my legs. I think the water making my legs slick made it harder for the epilator to keep a good grasp on my leg hairs. I eventually got frustrated on the back part of my leg and finished a swipe or two with my razor.
Overall, I liked that my hair was removed for much longer than normal shaving. I was not impressed with how this held up in the shower. The light feature was very nice, and the design is good...but I was not overly impressed with the epilator. I am going to wait until I try it dry to give a final review.

Braun Silk Epil 7

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think that this hair removal system is awesome. I love that there are many options on how to use it. It takes a bit of getting used to with the tweezers and all but once you do it a few times it is easy. The hairs do come back thinner and less coarse. I also liked the option of the razor as well as being able to use this dry or wet. The options are key. Some areas you just want to shave instead of tweezing and this is wonderful that it gives those options. So instead of me having a bunch of different devices I have one!
