[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This epilator will provide you with the closest shave possible. There are different attachments based on different parts of the body to use it on. It also comes equipped with a light so those pesky hairs can be seen. I recommend that you use it in the bath or shower. The warm water will help ease the discomfort. The epilator will leave your skin a bit red the first few times; that is just a simple fact. But the precision you get with one use compared to a razor is just amazing.

OF COURSE IT HURTS!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been wanting to try another method of hair removal for quite some time now. I get ridiculously tired of shaving almost every two days, and waxing is both painful and expensive. I tried to make a DIY sugar wax and could never get the recipe right! I have used what I believe was an epilator in the past. My nina used to have a Remington brand that was almost like two pieces of aluminum that massaged whatever you were trying to epilate rather than actually removing the hairs. I charged the product for a half hour when I received it, put my big-girl shorts on and tried it out. I tried it on my leg at II speed at the closest part where it nearly meets my foot. It feels exactly how you would imagine it would: like dozens of tweezers individually pulling on hairs, extracting them from the roots. This is when I realized I am in fact not that brave and should take it easy as a beginner. I lowered the speed to I and continued. The pain is easy to get used to around the shins--it is more like a mild discomfort... once you get to the calves... well... The overall pain level for legs on a scale of 1-5 is a hard 3. I should probably mention I have a couple of tattoos so I know what hurts... But I still hate needles. Lucky for me, these are just tweezers. The biggest reason I was excited to try this product out was for underarm epilation. (YES, I am a brave soul... Okay, I am not... Just tired of green shadows under there.) I tried it first in the shower after not shaving for about four days--an appropriate length to be epilated. I exfoliated with a sugar scrub--as recommended in my research--before beginning and let my pores open a bit; so, I did this toward the end of my shower. I held the skin taut with the same hand of the underarm I was working on and began epilating with the other. (Note: I imagine that with the suggested sensitivity epilation cap, this process might have been simpler, but it was not included in my package; I used the high-efficiency cap here at speed I.) Since I was in the shower, I did not have a good view of what I was doing here, but the light of the epilator was a huge help! And, OF COURSE, it hurt. Hard 4/5 pain-wise. Good news, though! The first time is the worst pain you will ever feel when epilating. It becomes less and less painful with each pass and each session. I epilate my underarms about once a week whereas I was shaving every two/three days, and epilate my legs once every two weeks. (Yes, results are lasting, but may vary.) The reason I give this -1 star is because it is difficult to epilate at certain angles. For instance, there are certain hairs in my underarms that the epilator just will not catch, and I have to wait for them to get a little longer before I can snatch them out. Overall, I am happy with this product and would recommend to a friend who is annoyed of shaving over and over and over again only to have the results last a day.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The epliator was okay definitly not my favorite product that i have tried it has some pros and some cons lets start with the pros it is very pretty I love the pink and sparkle and design of the razor. I also like that there was a little brush to clean the head and a bag to store it all away. Now for the cons I tried to ignore the pain but it feels like someone is taking a bunch of tweezers and pulling at your hair it is very painful. im puerto rican so usually im looking for a quick and painless way to remove hair and this was not it

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've never been so in love with ripping the hairs out of my leg! Let me start by saying, I've tried everything for hair removal and I've hated every moment of it. Shaving: razors are hello expensive, little red irritation bumps, can't be done dry outside of the shower, almost immediately stubbly. Waxing: the hair has to be so long. I'm just not interested in having monkey legs for a week. Laser: super expensive, irritating, takes forever if you're doing it at home with a laser gun. The little device is the best of both worlds, no joke. After a few uses, it's nearly painless. The hair regrowth is similar to waxing but you don't have to wait to become a gorilla before use. The Braun Silk-epil pulls out even shorter, stubbly hairs. It's incredibly fast, like shaving and can be used wet or dry. Super convenient. I'm totally in love! I received the product as part of a promotion from the brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so happy with my beginning results but now I've been experiencing really bad ingrowing hairs ! My legs look so nasty and with hair growing back slower I have to wait longer to use my epilator because it wont pull all these pesky hairs. Not to mention it has become a little slow and it doesn't feel as powerful as it did at the beginning.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] ok first it came late so my review is late which disturbed me, specially since i needed to shave badly and was waiting to try this, i did both my legs and they were so baby soft! however i tried my arm pits and wanted to out jump a sky scraper even on the low setting same for the bikini line thats a no go i have tried and tried and no isnt happening, now here is the weirdest i got a man to let me try it on his face and now he wants to take it from me! NO NO NO!!! it's mine all mine! now when he visits i have to hide it because he wants to use it for tiny hairs that are on his face, and for trimming his eyebrows its amazing! i am so going to try and use this on my brows when mine grow out just to trim them up a bit since i am used to plucking them, i wish there was a higher rating than 5 for this! I am really shocked, i was offered an epilator once before and cringed and said no, i didnt even want it near me, this time i said only live once and tried it, and so glad i did, i did show the guy i am a bzzagent, and of course his name is Haidar and he always knew i was a bzzagent and blogger, when he didnt know was the goodies you get and this was one of those goodies! I couldnt be more happier, so easy to clean and use! Thank you thank you thank you!!!!! Braun has been number 1 for mens electric razors that i used to use and always bought for mens birthdays and christmas that i knew, but i never knew they made things for woman, not like this, i am sure glad i know now! Dry is Good

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It definitely hurts more using the epilator on dry skin but it works the best. You have virtually no hairs and you don't have to go over and redo it 200 times. The redness and irritation goes away after 7-10 minutes, and it doesn't hurt so bad that it's unbearable.
On the other hand, in the water this epilator is TOTAL GARBAGE!!! I spent 20 minutes going over 1 leg again and again and again (and then made the same mistake of doing the other arm as well). For whatever reason, the epilator just DID NOT want to grab my hair at all.
Pain wise: This baby is a beauty. The more frequently you epilate, the less it hurts over time. At first it's pretty ouchy, don't get me wrong. In the water it doesn't hurt at all (probably because its not doing anything) and then on dry skin it hurts moderately, but over the next few times it should go away. I'll post back on that later.
One thing I really adore here though is that it DOES NOT grab your skin on accident ever! Once you've turned yours on if you're afraid just stick your fingertips on the tweezer area. It won't grab you. You know you're done epilating an area after you don't feel the little pulls on your hair. You can run the epilator over the smoothe skin just to make sure it's for sure done and it's not going to grab your skin <3 love that.

Not as good as I first imagined

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So I've tried this several times since receiving it in the mail and each time I feel like I'm less impressed. When I first used it, it took time to remove the hair on my legs but it got all of the them, but ever since then, I feel like it grabs less and less hair. I tried it again today and I had the hardest time even picking up longer hairs. I wonder it the tweezers on the epilator get dull? Do I need the replace the epilator head? The pain of epilating has not gone away, I am convinced it will always be a painful experience unfortunately. Also, when I looked up how to epilate properly, many articles said that you would get those little red shaving bumps the first time you used the epilator but eventually your body would get used to it. Well that is a lie. I have gotten shaving bumps every time I have used my epilator. And it still hurts to use it. It's the same pinching, stabbing feeling of getting a tattoo. Not really a pleasant experience. I had hoped that the pain would be worth the results of epilating, but I'm not sure it is. The results do't really speak for themselves. I received this item for testing purposes from BzzAgent.
