[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The idea of being able to try an epilator for the first time seemed amazing! I have a thing for hair that I just hate having hair unwanted. So I decided to try out the campaign. I was so excited when I received the box so I rushed home to try it out! I am a girl who can handle pain but this epilator I could not handle at all! It kept pinching me to the point where I had little blood spots. I heard that a new user with epilators hurt the first time or with long hair, so after couple of days and once I shaved and my hairs started growing out again I tried it once again. The second time around it seemed to be bit better but I still could not manage the pain. So for right now I think I just have to get used to it little by little.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the epil 7 and I honestly was very nervous about it being painful as other reviewers had stated. I got up my courage, fully charged my device and just went for it! I was surprised that I did not feel any pain worth screaming about. The Epil glided on very smoothly and removed all hair! I noticed no shave was needed for 3 straight weeks! I am in love, I will never go back to razors. No razor burn or odd dry patches. The Epil can be used easily if you follow the directions exactly. I loved that it came with a handy storage bag. I do recommend it, 3 weeks of not shaving is amazing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Now that my campaign is almost ending I have a more clear decision and I really think this is no a product I could use in the future, I am not comfortable using this technique I rather shave or use a hair removal cream. I came up with this decision because epilators are very painful, the first time I used it I kind of like it but the next time I got my skin really irritated and looking like chicken skin, it hurt a lot and I got really scared that's not normal and I wouldn't like to go through this again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was actually nervous to try this product. I have never used anything like this before. I have always shaved & dealt with the cuts & scrapes left by dull or old razors. When I received it in the mail, it was really cute & feminine. My Husband used it on a small spot on his arm to help me feel more at ease about trying it. His hair is very thick & course. He was surprised at how easy & painless it was to use. He tried both settings & said the higher speed was a bit more comfortable. However, both settings were not bad. I decided it was my turn. The hair on my arms is really fine & light, so I started there. I was pleasantly surprised as well. It was easy & relatively painless. I would much rather use this than take my chances on cutting myself with razors forever. The results are so much longer lasting than shaving. It was close to 12 days before I needed to use it again. Comparing that to the price of razors & how often you have to replace them it's a no brainer. Thank You for giving me this amazing product!!!! I will be telling everyone I know how wonderful the Braun Silk epil 7 is!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This epilator is pretty good. I've tried quite a few and this is definitely a top contender. It's really easy to turn on and off and the light is a god-send. The little light is actually really bright and extremely helpful. My only tiny issue that I have is that it can be a little hard to get the really smaller hairs or the solitary hairs. I'd have to keep going over and over the same spot and it would not grab onto the hair! I've used other epilators where it would grab even the tiniest little stub of hair. But I still really liked this one because it still does an excellent job. Just be sure to exfoliate afterwards to keep those evil ingrown hairs at bay.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had never tried an epilator before. Thanks to Bzzagent and Braun I was able to try the silk epil 7 for review purposes. I will admit, when I got it in the mail I was terrified. However after trying it out it was not too painful. I did have to go ovver the same area a few times, but it got the job done. My skin felt smooth for days. I recommend it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] well as a background before this review i want to say my skin is sensitive so i might have experienced different things. That being said, i epilated twice trying to give it a chance. the first time I epilated it HURT! like bad hurt! and my legs got like razor bumps. I have waxed before and yes that was also painful but I feel like epilating was definitely way more painful.Like I said i tried it twice and the second time the bumps weren't as bad so that's good. I definitely didn't try it on my face or my lady parts because since it hurt so bad on my legs I wasn't about to try it anywhere else! I'm sure the more you use it the easier it gets but I just can't because the bumps that lasted 2 days and it was hurtful. I'm a cry baby, I know! Waxing hurt at first too, and then i got used to it but I guess it's just so much quicker than epilating. I feel like since it takes longer to epilate it was that much more painful. My leg hairs did grow back in way slower and thinner which is always a PLUS! So yes does it work of course it just wasn't for me. I couldn't handle the pain but if I could I would have loved to keep epilating because it made my hair grow in so SLOWLY! It was great while it lasted!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the idea of an epilator and was very excited to have the opportunity to try this one. I had never used one before and was really shocked at how painful it actually is. I read other reviews that said to make sure you go slow, and I did, but that didn't really make the pain be any less. However, I gave it 5 stars because yes, it is painful, but it is very effective. My legs were hairless for at least 3 weeks and when I tried to use the epilator again, the pain was virtually non-existent. I love that I can use it on wet or dry skin and that it is cordless. It doesn't take very long to charge, but I do like to charge it before every use. It is a really great product and I am glad I got the opportunity to test it.
