Now this is a great tv!

My sister gave this to to me. No instructions, no remote, and I've been making it work with a universal remote. Also could use some feet. But what a pleasure to watch! And the menu made it easy to get started.

Problems with shadows

We purchased a Vizio 50” less than two years ago. A couple months ago, we noticed some random “dark areas” on the right side of the screen. Last week, the whole right side went “dark.” You can still see the screen in that area, but it is noticeably darker. Tried every fix available, including a factory reset, all were unsuccessful. Now, just going to replace it…..with something that’s not Vizio.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
