I purchased this as it had Chromecast built in and some pre installed apps that I used. After a month from purchase there was an update and let and behold it now had Apple Air play 2 capabilities.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The picture and sound quality are amazing. Trying to use the TV without WiFi is impossible. You also have to access the menu from the app on your phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
