Temperature Issue

I bought this oven after reading good reviews. I want to use it for small items. Past experience told me to check the temperature for accuracy. I set the oven to 350 degrees and the thermometer showed 440 degrees. I verified the accuracy of the oven thermometer with the wall oven. The oven and the thermometer agreed.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Almost a great oven

Good oven but two problems... the door handle supports loosened and no way to tighten them, so the handle rod can come out. Also, the control knobs need to be knurled or something to make them easier to grip. They are smooth chrome and hard to turn.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Knob broke, burns things in bake mode

Bake mode does not work as such. What should be bake mode has the upper element on way too hot, and burns things quickly, unlike earlier models. Selector knob broke within two weeks of purchase.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The only issue I have is that I would like to order another rack and pan, but they are available in the United States but not in Canada.
I like to be able to cook more than one food product at time, I can't with only one rack and pan.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My toaster oven had a problem with the heating element. Called Black and Decker for a replacement. The people who I spoke to were friendly and very helpful. The process was very simple and straightforward. I received my new one today. Want to thank the people I spoke to were very helpful. I would definitely buy a product from Black and Decker again. Everyone were very helpful and the process was very simple. Received my new one today. Would definitely recommend Black and Decker to friends.
