the electrical cord on my new black and decker is way way to short. the last one I had was just right was abt 1 1/2 ft. the new one doesnt meet 1 ft.. so far everything else is fine.

A very poor product!

The control knobs are very confusing, unlike earlier models of this product. The writing is too small and obscure.
Worst to all is the flimsy little tray that is made more of foil rather than of product-quality aluminum. It is so weak that it bends when scrubbed with steel wool and the bends soon turn into holes. Totally unsatisfactory!

My older, smaller, Black and Decker toaster oven just died after constant use over fifteen years. I wanted something wider and deeper to actually use as an oven for larger dishes, and this one fit that need.
So far, I've made toast, cookies, and baked chicken, all with great success...especially when I figured out that I could turn the knob counter clockwise to keep the heat "always on," if I chose to.

Toasted to Perfection

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the settings options for the toasting dark to light. This doesn't leave any guess work for burning my toasted items. Baking is also easy with this product and my foods never have the typical charred top of toaster oven prepared foods.
