Our Review 30-inch Amana Top-Freezer Refrigerator

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We haven't had the refrigerator very long, so can only provide a brief review. We do like the design of the handles (easier to clean) and the glass shelves allow more visibility to see items on the lower shelf. We do miss having a cheese drawer, but purchased a plastic storage bin to put on the shelf, which works fine. It keeps our food cold and the freezer keeps ice cream solid! YAY!
The price seemed very reasonable, for a refrigerator (we did online research), without all of the fancy options, etc. We preferred to purchase a basic model. We felt AMANA was a reputable manufacturer, so opted for this brand, rather than another.
The only negative would be the concern we have had hearing the many noises it makes...sometimes making us wonder if it is going to cease to run. So far, so good. All in all, we are satisfied with our purchase

Inside the door shows 2 gallon milk jugs in photos but, is not wide enough to fit 1 much less 2. Lower shelf inside is not even high enough to accommodate Diet Coke single bottles. The top shelf in door flips up thank goodness so I can stand a wine bottle but, lose a shelf by doing that. Does not come with ice maker in photo, must purchase ice maker separately. So, look inside very carefully as to what you normally store in your frig.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I looked at several brands of Refrigerator (s), before I purchased the Amana. I felt it was the best one suited for my use. It was very simple to set up, well constructed, quite, and reasonabley priced. Would buy another one and recommend this brand to any consumer.

Very spacious

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had another model refrigerator that I replaced this one with and I really love this new one. For a smaller refrigerator it has a lot of shelf space and the shelves are nice and deep. The ice maker I got with this fridge works great and I always have plenty of ice. The freezer is a good size also.
