I made the right choice. Amana is not only all USA made..which was a biggy for me. It has a glass shelf
in the freezer and in the frig...much better than wire shelves.. It is quite and freezer is frozen and frig is cold. It did take me 3 days to figure out how cold to make the frig but that was my fault. I keep changing from cold to less cold....when you buy this frig put it on recommended in freezer and 1 below recommended in frig and leave it there....You will be happy. A square gallon of milk though will not fit in the door easily...no bigger but would of liked it to fit. will try a round one..
It is very easy to roll out of space its in to clean behind. For the price this is the best refrigerator..
With 2 crisper drawers on the floor of frig is great.. humidity slide...very nice feature..

I've only had this Amana for a little over a week--but I'm very happy with it! It replaced the refrigerator I had for almost 40 years and loved! The feature that sold me on this model was the inset handles. I use a transport chair, and often the handles of my chair would get caught in my old refrigerator's handles. When I was happy with the inside of this Amana and then noticed the inset handles (it wasn't something I noticed right away)--I WAS SOLD!! And am very happy!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I think the price was acceptable. But because lack of time I purchased this unit without much examination. The saleman open the unit so I did not notice a grip instead of a handle to easily grab when I have a hand full of items I want to place in the refrigerator. I was very disappointed when I realized that there is no light in the freezing compartment. And I miss a tray for holding eggs.
Otherwise it serves well as a lower cost refrigerator/freezer. Hard to get the temperatures that I'd prefer.
