I was first interested in this refrigerator because of the smoother texture on the outside. My old refrigerator was much more textured, thus it was more difficult to clean. The shelves on the door are great. The flip up shelf is handy for taller items, though it can be flipped down to accommodate smaller things. I prefer glass shelves over wire, which was another factor in choosing this model. Wire shelving makes it more difficult to keep items balanced. One small downside is that it seems somewhat loud when it kicks on.

He was delighted with it because now he has a new refrigerator that has completed parts. The features are appreciated because there is room for a lot of storage. The glass shelves are liked a lot, too. The tenant is obviously a happy customer!

I decided on Amana because the model I was interested in had by far the fewest number of complaints and/or bad reviews anywhere I checked on line. After looking it over in the store I bought it. It replaced a unit of the same size but seems larger, especially the freezer.

it's nice not to have the handles sticking out, frig looks good with hidden handles.
It seems shorter than my old one, so I have to lean down to put things into it. but,don't get me wrong, I love my new frig and it's quite too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I read a lot of reviews on different refrigerators and this one came out on top. There is a lot of shelving in the door. The only thing that I'm not crazy about is the two adjustable shelves. The bottom shelf is either too low and I can't get bottles (wine or other bottles of this height) under it or the next slot is too high and there's not much space between the two shelves - about 2 1/2 inches. It's a garage fridge so it's ok.
