Love my fridge!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my new refrigerator. I had one in the past that had the freezer on the bottom and after 20 years it died. Bought a regular upright refrigerator in a hurry because I needed now . Used it for 2 years . Hated it, forever banging my head on upper freezer. Thought if I waited for it to die , it would probably outlive me. Ordered what I really wanted and could be happier.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased as a replacement for my 30-year-old Amana bottom freezer refrigerator. Happy with the overall unit. Preferred the door to drawer on freeze. Unit runs more than the old one - but is smoother in operation (new vs/ 30-years).

Overall, great features.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought a new Amana refrigerator about a month ago. It replaced my old Amanda frig that was almost 30 years old! The new one is great, seems more spacious inside with the freezer compartment on the bottom. You can look directly at every thing on the shelves. The shelving on the frig door is sturdy and holds two milk cartons along with other bottled condiments and drinks.
I would recommend this to a friend!

It may look smaller but fits my kitchen area perfect and has a ton more room inside than our last piece of junk, which was a freezer on top version.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far, so good. We've had the refrigerator a few weeks, and it's doing the job. The only glitch was that, after we had the door switched around so it would hinge on the left, the vertical handle for the refrigerator section kept slipping up and off. After a couple of days of putting it back as forcefully as I could, I heard a "thunk" and the handle was locked firmly into place. It's been fine since.
BTW, one of the reasons we bought the Amana was the fact that it didn't come with an icemaker. It's getting harder and harder to find refrigerators (other than small ones) without icemakers built in. We were pleased that Amana still had a model that met our needs.
I would recommend this to a friend!
