My husband (who's a foot taller than me) has been advocating for a bottom freezer refrigerator for a few years, and I finally gave in when we needed to upgrade. We are very pleased with the pull out freezer drawer - it is very easy to open and close, and the capacity is impressive! The organization of the drawer and shelf allows a surprising amount of freezer storage area. With the fridge, there is a lot of flexibility in the shelf/bin configuration possibilities. Having a slight lip on the shelves to contain spills is another practical feature. Overall, we are happy with our investment. Past history tells us we can depend on the Amana name.

My refrigerator wasn't working up to par and I could not see what was in my refrig. because the freezer was on the top. Now with the freezer on the bottom, I can see everything in the back of the refrig. Quiet and runs good.

I like that the frezzer is on the bottom and easy to get things out of. I Like the refrigerator on top makes access easy because it is at eye leval. My old refrigerator did not have clear drawers so they are so nice to have.
