I bought this refrigerator recently to replace the poor old thing that had been in my condo when I bought it 11 years ago. Who knows how old it was? Anyway, this is a streamlined, smart-looking appliance. Very clean lines, easily adjustable shelves, and so on. I like having the freezer on the bottom. New experience for me, and I like it. Very happy with my purchase.

Bought this because we have an older home and not room for a wide frig.
We are happy with it. I like the interior design, feels spacious and easy to access everything. Very large door shelves.. Very easy to take shelves apart for cleaning. Only shortcoming I can think of is that it would not be great for people who use lots of ice. Has neither an icemaker nor a convenient shelf for trays. In a pinch guess one could devote the upper tray of the freezer drawer to ice cube trays....but they might spill over when closing before the water freezes. I have been freezing trays in my basement freezer and then dumping cubes in a container in the freezer drawer of the Amana. That's fine since we don't use alot of ice.

I own an old house, so I have a small refigerator opening next to a doorway. There aren't a lot of options out there, but I am happy with this refrigerator. I really wanted a French door style, but I couldn't find one that would fit the space front to back. That being said, I love the bottom freezer. It is great to have the fridge items at eye level. It seems like I have slightly less room in the refrigerator section compared to my top freezer model, and the crisper drawers are more shallow top to bottom and front to back, but nothing I can't handle. Nice, deep shelves in the door.
