[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were reluctant to depart with our 20 year refrigerator, but after seeing a bottom freezer unit at a relatives we wanted to try this. So far we are surprised at the convenience of this unit, and having all our foods visible and easily reached. It also works well for our guests. We are still getting used to the new configuration, but are getting used to the better arrangement and storage capacity that fits our needs much better than we expected. And less noise!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this refrigerator after our old one was beyond repair. It works it terms of keeping things cold but has one serious drawback. Once retrieved something from the refrigerator, once you close the door a vacuum is created so strong it is impossible to open immediately afterwards. You must wait 20 to 30 seconds to open it again. Not a problem if you make sure you get everything you need the first time or you know you need to wait for the pressure finally equalizes. Cause if you don’t, you will pull the door handle loose trying. So although I’m happy the fridge seals well and keeps the food cold, I’m not that patient.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Purchased for my by a daughter as I had difficulty with former refrigerator (freezer on top and lower part refrigerator difficult to obtain items in lower levels due to age and agility.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was tired of trying to bend over to see what was on the bottom shelves of the old refrigerator and wanted a pull out basket type freezer on the bottom. Was also tired of hitting my head on the freezer door of old refrigerator when I’d stand up after crawling in to find something.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We had an earlier version of this fridge in white but decided to replace it with a stainless steel one due to it's age and the fact we wanted all new appliances that matched. While most of the fridge seems to be the same two things of note were disappointing. The old fridge had see-through molded door shelving compartments. Happily since the old and new units were identical, we were able to swap out the old see-through parts and discard the new solid shelving compartments. (Note: the new solid ones DO make the interior of the fridge look cleaner and more streamlined, but we gave that "upgraded" cosmetic feature up for the ability to easily see exactly what we are looking for more quickly. ) The other issue was more disturbing: the lower freezer compartment has too much "give" and unless it is opened and closed exactly from the middle of the handle, it will not slide properly and ends up not closing fully and sealing properly. Special attention must be given each time it is used. Also this model does not have the little shelf to slide an ice cube tray on, but that does allow for more taller items in the freezer which is nice. I wish that there had been a "smudge-free" stainless option as some other manufacturers offer, as I was naive on how many finger prints stainless shows. On the plus side we still love the glass adjustable shelving, it seems very well insulated. It is easy to clean and has great lighting.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased. The design of this refrigerator is flawless. I would not change a thing. We are very pleased.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got my refrigerator in Jan. I like every thing about it, except one thing. I don't like The second shelf, because of bracket in the middle. It keeps me from puting more food in it. If it had a full one piece shelf it would be much better.
