[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This refrigerator was a replacement for another product/brand that did not last 2 weeks before we had issues. We liked the size, door, etc of the previous fridge and were afraid we were going to have to settle for less with the replacement that was offered. We were wrong; our Amana has more interior space despite a slightly smaller overall size. It has a well thought-out door arrangement - we fit more in our fridge door than any appliance we have had. Produce doors slide nicely too. Only negative, we miss the old fashioned dial (cooling) settings. With just 3 offerings, it can be a little too warm or a little too cool; no "in between" settings that the dials offer. However, it keeps the temperatures - a good sign -as that is the problem we had with our previous appliance.

Bought my Amana bottom freezer 17yrs ago. Can't remember a problem. Now, I have to replace. Would rather replace "workings" than the refrigerator. Still looks like new!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace a 25 year old unit. The new one is quiet and the temperatures in the freezer and refrigerator seem even and just right. The ice maker kit purchased at the time I picked up the new refrigerator was not right for this unit. Bought one on-line that was the correct one. The correct kit had the solenoid valve and hardware for the back of the refrigerator as well as the ice maker itself. All working fine right now. Very pleased with it.
