The Otter Box has great features. The rubber inner layer cushions the phone if it falls. I really like how the plug in spots are covered for protection. Other phone covers let dust and other particles in, as these parts are not protected on them. I have recommended this product to many people. The plastic cover did break (after several drops) but that the phone was protected, which is the important objective!

Cons: lack of color selection

I love everything about this case. Since I have put it on my phone, I have dropped the phone on tile, asphalt and other hard surfaces and it has definitely protected it. The only reason I gave it a four star review: the screen protector included was obviously old merchandise, I couldn't get the sticker off, most of it just stuck to the product, so I couldn't use it.

Cons: screen protector was lousy

I love the hot pink outside case, but the soft inside shell being white gets dirty too easy and does not clean off totally. It needs to be updated with a better material that does not absorb dirt / oils/ makeup etc that will stay white!
Pros: cute pink!

Me and my family's experience with Otterbox: the best warranty in the business and the best cases. we use the defender and commuter for iphone and it has been protective even after dropping the phone. since we like changing colors and styles it puts "wear" on the cases. Otterbox promptly sent replacements when damaged. we love the service.
