I purchased a Commuter case and in 2 days it cracked from the side into the center. After another 2 months the bottom cracked. However, after sending pictures to www.otterbox.com/warranty I received a new case in less than 1 week. Time will tell if they have made improvements to the plastic or not.
Cons: Low quality, Not durable
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This is the bst case that I have found for my Iphone 4. I am a butterfingers when it comes to my phone. The otterbox case helps me hold on to it safe and secure. This case lets you keep a good grip on your phone. There is no fear that your phone will not be protected.

Love the new color for my OtterBox- teal and turquoise . Mostly love everything about it but disappointed that it doesnt fit on the dock for my alarm clock / charger. I have to remove the case nightly and wory that the fit will loosten over time w/ all the repeated on and offs

I would recommenced the Defender series but not the Commuter series. I have the commuter series and its not very durable or a good quality product. It consistantly breaks and doesn't fit the phone properly as one side sticks out just a but further. Also when taking the case on and off (as with the case on it doesn't fit on my Bose docking station) it breaks the little piece of plastic that is across the bottom. Please beware of the commuter series.
I would just like to note that I've communicated with OtterBox and they have sent me a new case and were extremely pleasant and efficient to deal with, I received my new case in less than a week a replacement for the broken one. But unfortunately the case still isn't durable for my needs.

This product is not as durable as I thought it would be. My first case lasted less than a year. I sent it back and received a new one by warranty and then the new case broke within 2 weeks of using it.
