I purchased 4 Otter Box cases for my family. One of them broke within the warranty period and Otter Box replaced the case after I followed their directions showing them what occurred. This is refreshing and I will definitely purchase (and recommend) another Otter Box.
Also, the Otter Box designs are great and they protect the phone. They just do what they were designed to do.

I love my otterbox. It has held up well, looks good, and feels good in the hand. When I did have a problem with my otterbox in the first year, the company fulfilled their promise to get me a new one, and made the process easy. Friggin' great.

its a reliable case but sometimes mine cracks around the vanity circle, i just wish there was an option whether or not to have the vanity circle or not

My old Defender case was wonderful; several years and nothing ever got inside to my iPhone. I just bought new Defender cases for our new iPhone 5C phones and I am VERY disappointed!!! The clear plastic cover over the keypad is no longer a solid piece of plastic - there are holes over the on/off button at the bottom of the screen and the microphone on the top. Both of these holes will allow moisture and dirt inside the case to the phone so I am probably going to return and buy another brand.

Cons: holes allow dirt + moisture inside

This is a great phone case, and they stand behind their product. I've had my phone in it for 2 years now, and not a scratch on it, even after many drops. The hard plastic has cracked on me in the thin spots twice now. But this doesn't affect the proctection to your phone. As soon as it cracked both times I messaged their warranty department, and within 2 days, I had a brand new case. Definately would buy again, and would reccomend.
