I have 3 Otterbox Commuter cases for iPhone 4's. I like the design combining soft inside and hard shell outside to help it slide, but not slip, in and out of pockets. The level of protection is good by design for a relatively thin case. Two of the cases are in the hands of teenage boys who are very rough on their devices. These cases have cracked in the weakest point along the bottom twice each, but Otterbox has replaced them free of charge through a hassle-free process. One of the phone screens cracked when dropped from 5 feet onto uneven concrete, but dozens of other drops were protected. It's a good product for the price, a good design, and a good company that stands behind it, especially when compared to other products in this price range.

We have multiple Otterboxes on multiple iPhones and iPads for our business. We love them ALL. Warranty team ROCKS!!! Have had to replace a couple of units due to cracked cases - never a problem.
Only critique - I wish there was a way to "beef-up" the small plastic piece above the charging port. It is the only place that seems to fail and crack on my cases (4-4S). Design may have changed on 5 and 6 models.

I have used OtterBox ever since I got my iPhone 4 back 5 years ago. My young kids have put this product for testing as they have through my iPhone everywhere you can image from as high as 4 meters and on very hard surfaces. OtterBox has truly protect my investment. Moreover OtterBox has the best customer service in the world I have never ever seen or heard of such service. More companies in North America should have OtterBox's customer service.

great product ! It has saved me phone many times as I have young children that have dropped it multiple times. It is bulky though and never fits nicely in my pockets. I am also happy with the gaurentee that when something happens it you basically send a new one. I have got mine replaced once and it was fast with delivery

My previous otterbox had a rubber cover which was easier to grip. This new one has a plastic cover which I find hard to hold on to. It keeps slipping out of my hands and slides in the car on plastic surfaces.
