The Otterbox does a great job protecting my phone from damage. I work in an environment where phones tend to get dinged up a bit.
The only problem I have had it the tab at the bottom (where you plug in the phone) has worn away twice, but Otterbox was understanding and replaced it both times within a week.

I have the Otterbox Commuter Series and although it is not technically "life proof", I have never had a single scratch on my Iphone (knock on wood). I have dropped my phone countless times, even on surfaces such as a metal dumbbell, the only damage has been to the case. Which I think says quite a lot about the product Otterbox has created. I would highly recommend this product to anyone who prefers to keep their cellular devices for an extended period of time.
