My commuter case is PERFECT. I'm really hard on my stuff, and iPhones are so expensive, you really don't want to take risks. It fits in my pocket (and yes, I wear women's pants with the tiny pockets), safe in my backpack, and I've never had any damage to my phone if and when I end up dropping it. On top of that, Otterbox really does have fantastic customer service.
Pros: High quality, Durable, love the teal color!

I am currently on my third OtterBox case over a period of about 4 years, and I couldn't be happier. I will stick with this brand as long as it is around. I have dropped my phone so many times, and it has never once broken. The case is very durable, but should it break on you within the first year, the customer service is wonderful, and they will send you a brand new one for free! You can't go wrong with an OtterBox!

I was a little disappointed when my case cracked. I think my toddler dropped it on our tile floor one too many times! But my phone was not damaged at all, which is the important part. Then I found out how easy it was to use the 12 month warranty. The process was simple and my new case arrived in the mail with no questions asked. You gotta love a company that actually stands behind their products.

I just received a new case from Otterbox on warranty. I originally bought the case a little over a year ago. The first case had a lot of pieces that broke on it - the covers for the headphone and charger ports both ripped off after 6 and 9 months, and a few months later the hard outer case cracked in a few of the smaller areas and pieces started falling off. That promptied me to apply for a replacement, which was very easy to get, totally free, and a few of the parts that broke on my old one seem slightly more robust on the replacement - maybe the one I had before was messed up or maybe they improved the design in the last year.
All of that being said, the case never failed to protect my phone even as it accumulated damage, and I've dropped it hard plenty of times in the last year. I am a student who puts a lot of wear and tear on my devices; I use my phone all day, pulling it in and out of my pocket, opening and closing the port covers dozens of times a day. No case is going to last forever, their job is to take the bullet for the more valuable equipment, and this case probably lasted longer than any other case available would have. And honestly with the way people buy new phones every year anyway, you don't need to worry about your phone case lasting more than a year, and if it doesn't then Otterbox gives you a new one for free.

I just wish it didn't diminish from the beautiful phone! I understand I am purchasing this for the protection, i.e, bulk. But I wish I didn't have to.
