Locked in to Cafe

Had to buy this model due to Trim Kit. It had to fit a specific size since it was replacing a Profile model that quit, parts no longer available, so we had to change all white appliances with new Stainless Steel and the Cafe line was the only one that would replace size wise. The Stainless is the same as the Oven but different than the Refrigerator and Dishwasher.
I would recommend this to a friend!

this microwave cooks like a champ. Has a great heat/smoke feature that automatically turns on the fan when it scensors come on. The only problem is that the fan is really loud.

love the non-louvered trim kit!

I bought this microwave when I bought all new GE Cafe appliances for my kitchen. It is very beautiful. I especially love the way the trim kit looks. I like that it vents without louvers making it very sleek and stylish.

I purchased this particular after my previous GE Microwave oven of 5 years stopped working. So glad I did, too, because this new one uses far less energy while at the same time cutting cooking times in half. Absolutely amazing!
And so easy to clean too, with just a little Bon Ami cleaner on a damp sponge.

cooks fine, but is small inside. Cook time is hard to set with the nob. can't just type in a cook time to the second.

2 complaints... My square plates did not rotate so I had to buy new dishes so I didn't burn out the motor. My previous Microwave had a "turntable OFF" feature. The unit runs a little loud for me. Overall, it works well.

Bought this three months ago and it has been an ideal microwave oven for my busy family. The features and functions make it easy to cook, bake or warm up food. For my household, this microwave oven makes preparing snacks and meals quick and easy. And that is just the way that we like it.
