I Love This Tablet

This Tablet is incredible I purchased it because I broke my notebook and it was going to take 2 to 3 weeks for the warranty repair to be completed.
After using the Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 I don't want to go back to the notebook that cost 6 times the price as my tablet. So now my notebook sits fixed while I enjoy the Tablet. it lasts 4 times longer between charges also. Ironic

I am a non-techie, just getting introduced to the Galaxy tablet and the Galaxy III phone at the age of 64. I've been learning for 4 days now, and am finding there is a lot this item does. I love it so far. It's easy to use once the novice jumps the hurdle of "I can't and don't want to learn". So far, every aspect of the tablet has been an enjoyable experience, and this technology is SO convenient!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight, intuitive
I would recommend this to a friend!

Owned it for about a year before switching to another Samsung made tablet(nexus 10). I was very pleased with it's abilities, was just never quite happy with the display on it. It's a decent tablet for the money, but given the options of newer tablets for close to the same price i'd spend the extra to get a newer device.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive
Cons: Not high def
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I love my Samsung tablet. It's use is so broad, I'm able to use it as a remote, or to do a project, or to just entertain myself. I love it and I don't regret buying it.

Used to be a great tablet

This "was" a great tablet until the last update. Not only did Samsung change the whole look and feel of the tablet, but now some of the apps I absolutely loved to use don't work anymore. Now you can't get rid of the quick toolbar at the bottom and it's on every screen. They moved settings and clock to the top of the screen and you have to drag down to get the settings screen (it takes several tries and it's a chore)! I don't want Windows 8 on my tablet, that's why I bought an android, so DON'T make it look/feel like Windows 8! There is no longer an "easy" way to change the screen brightness (used to be right on the quick settings screen, that used to be on the bottom). Now, I can't mirror the screen to my Samsung television. I would have recommend Samsung before, but now it's more or less worthless. Maybe if they fix the problems they created with the last update, it might change my view.

Cons: poor product updates

Received this as a fathers day gift. I was tired of my laptop and wanted something I could easily use for Facebook and email. While it won't replace a laptop, it is nice having it. I like that it is android, so it is familiar to use since I have had an Android phone for some time now. Battery lasts a good long time, display is bright and clear. It is light easy to use. No complaints really.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Lightweight

I love how this tablet syncs with my s4. I just wish the operating system was more like the s4.

This tablet is an excellent substitution for a bulky laptop to do whatever with the wide selection of apps. When at home, my phone is not used unless I get a call. It is the most used device in my home. Yes, even more than my TV.
The only reason this tablet does not get a five star rating is because I've noticed it does not communicate well with my router if I'm upstairs, or on the opposite side of the house of the router. All my other devices maintain their same WIFI speed and signal.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: weak wifi antenna.
