Was deciding between 2 other brands of tablets. Glad I chose Samsung. The Tab 2 10.1 is everything I hoped it would be. It is easy to use and has a beautiful display. Even my iPad loving wife likes it. Ice Cream Sandwich is a great improvement while retaining Android familiarity and convenience. It is truly a pleasure to use this device. Love the Tab!

Made the right choice

Initially, when friends found out I'd bought the Galaxy 10.1, they didn't hesitate in telling me what a great product it was. One of them friends is an IT manager and he let me know that it was the very best choice in tablets and he was getting one. Another friend is purchasing one this week because I took it on vacation with us and it was absolutely invaluable in helping us navigate our way around the island. At first I purchased the 7.0 but found it a little small for how I was going to use it. I returned it and bought the 10.1 and it is just perfect. Some reviewers said they were hoping for a better camera but it is okay with me. It was all I needed for the trip. I also like the many apps that come with it and also the choices for ones we can download. Lastly, one of the IT guys at work introduced the tablet concept to me some years ago. However, at the time I couldn't see a use for one. If waiting this long to get one put me in line to get the Galaxy then I am glad I waited!
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight, it is better than lugging around a laptop, fits in my purse for easy transport
Cons: Not high def
I would recommend this to a friend!

Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 - I love it!

I've had my Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 for about a month now. It is pleasing to the eyes, has plenty of storage, and is fast! It came with Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.x) installed and has kept itself up to date - which leads me to my only complaint. You can't move apps to the microSD Card. This shortfall didn't detract from my rating because it is Operating System related and not hardware related. It is a shortcoming of Ice Cream Sandwich.

It takes little getting used to going from an android phone to a tablet but it is worth the move for all your apps. My phone is now just my phone. The only con is the camera quality, an upgrade would make the Samsung tab a truly all in one device. I could do without my laptop now that I have this.

OK, must admit to not being overly tech savvy, but it's hard to comprehend all that this tab can do. I've had it for two weeks and am still learning. One thing I can say is that it's smarter than me! And almost as good looking... Fast and easy to use. Beautiful graphics. Lightweight. Haven'y found one negative yet. I bought a new Galaxy 3 phone at the same time and I'm thrilled with both. Only hope I can sit still until I can add Jelly Bean!!
