What are widgets?

Tablet works ok with its installed apps. Question and answer website won't let me ask a question, just blinks and flashes and takes me back to the top of the screen. Took me forever to register the product because the HEX/IMIE number is lower case and the one on the tablet is upper case. Widgets don't seem to do anything except clutter up the widgets screens.
Pros: Bright display
Cons: Did not meet expectations
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

The screen color are very realistic. It is easy to use. The IR Blaster is a nice feature to have.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: expensive, no hdmi port

Out of the Box

I enjoyed this tablet right out of the box, had some issues with the apps, but they have since been smoothed out and now I have to share it with the whole family, because of its popularity, have desktop and laptop, but this has become the favorite by far.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Realistic color, Lightweight

can't watch movies

I loved the tablet right up to the point where I tried to load a movie, and it wasn't happening. I went to google play, purchased, not rented, a movie, and it would not play. I was told to try downloading it instead of streaming it, and it still refused to play. I have tried to find out a work around on the net to no avail. Nothing in the trouble shooting guide that helped. I mainly bought it so I could watch movies while on a cross country trip.
Also, it claimed to support flash, and it doesn't, so I can't even access the the movies through my amazon account. Will probably take it back and make due with my 7" Kindle Fire, as the new one won't be out before I leave on my trip.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Inexpensive, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def, Did not meet expectations, screen is not as nice as the one on the phone.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Don't know why I didn't upgrade to a tablet before now...I had a nook color but this is no comparison....love ICS as I have it on my smartphone....love the ease of use and auto found my google play apps....lightweight....the smart remote was easy to setup...phenomenal tablet....did a lot of research before buying this one....so GLAD I did.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def

Easy set up... WI FI only... love it does what it says.. I really like the other products Samsung offers! Maybe need to take a class to find out all the features...

When I first purchased this tablet, I was a little disappointed by the performance. The display is incredible, but the performance lagged a little and was a little sluggish. I have since installed the Ice Cream Sandwich OS and the tablet is 100% better. I am very happy with the product, with the features, and with the ability to connect to Wi-fi or to 4G. Enjoy this tablet much more than my wife's iPad.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: sluggish prior to upgrade of os.
I would recommend this to a friend!
