After reviewing between the Ipad and Galaxy tab2 went with the Galaxy. Mainly we are middle 50's felt don't need all the bells and whistles of more expensive tables. Wife uses it mostly had a Samsung 111 phone so wanted something familier to use. So far so good. Does mostly web search , facebook games, email. Does do her games Words with friends and Scrabble no problems .The only thing that almost took it back was adobe player flash, she couldn't watch her one tv show on line. How ever finally found a short video ,how to manually install flash player on android device download no problem. She is now happy she is watching her show. Did state not quite as clear as the laptop ( No HD) but willing to live with it. So rate it 4 stars mainly because of minor issues. Overall we are happy.
Pros: Bright display, Lightweight
Cons: Not high def

Lots of aps , great feateures , could use some kind of security in place. Maybe something like a tracking your device online if someone steals it

Great mid level Tablet

I am pleased to have purchased the Galaxy tab 2 10.1. It has good processing power, Fast wifi and Didnt't break the bank. I love Samsung products overall. Every one I've owned has stood the test of time well. Their Customer service has also been Prompt and knowledgeable when i have needed them. (very rare)
If your looking for a good mid level tablet this one will meet your needs well.

Pros: Bright display, Durable, Lightweight, decent battery life
Cons: not a metal outer case, price could be more competitive
