This is my first tablet and I went through tons of reviews for all available tablets in the market before selecting this one. After (which seemed to be) very long wait I finally got one. I couldn't wait to unbox the tab. The first look at the tab was amazing and the feeling enhanced after I held it in my hands. But the Shock & Awe moment was when I pressed the start button and I was blown away by the sharpness and colors of the home screen.
Definitely recommend it as it is a very decent product with nice combination of features and performance; backed by excellent after sales support of Samsung.

I got this because I didn't want a laptop. So surpised at all that it does and how easy it is to use! Great detail and color!

Exactly what I was looking for

After reading all sorts of reviews, I decided to buy Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 10.1 and it's wonderful! I've had it for 5 weeks and I am very happy with it. The only thing I wish would work better is the camera. I don't like the fact that I cannot zoom in/out... or maybe I haven't found how to do that yet... The pictures are ok but I know they could be much better. Would I buy it again? Absolutely!
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Lightweight, user friendly
Cons: camera could be improved further

I had the Ipad3, was looking for one for my wife but decided on the 10" Galaxy Tab. Excellent product. Not quite as fast, not quite as good picture but outstanding bang for the buck. As a techie, I love to be able to customize the home screen. Love the selection of apps. The ability to load a micro SD card. Even downloaded the flash player so daughter (8) can play her games. I think I'll buy her one to replace the laptop I got her in October! Samsung has gone a long way to winning me over as a new customer!!

I bought this tablet because I needed a large 10.1 WiFi only tablet for reading emails, surfing the web, reading my Kindle books, and more! Although this exceptional Samsung Tablet does not fully replace a Laptop or Desktop, but for quick browsing, checking emails, listening to music and reading ebooks, it is so much more portable and convenient than lugging around my 17.1" heavy laptop!
Screen resolution, colors are superb! In my opinion, it is equal to the latest iPad but well over 300.00 cheaper and that's with the additional 32mb I installed after purchase.
Pros: Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: none yet. still too new

I love this TABLET!!!!!

I've been a stationary PC guys forever, never anything mobile, like a smart phone, laptop etc. But having spent Christmas with my grand kids, I failed to be able to show them a lot of things I had stored on my Skydrive because a storm knocked out the internet connection.
If I had had my tablet I would have been able to show them all the new photos. They could enjoy my music as we visited and view the videos that I had recently produced with photos and clips of them.
Being mobile with the ability to connect is AWESOME! I honest don't know how I lived without one for this long. Plus I found a tablet savey Lady that's helped tons with my understand of what the tablet will do and how to do what I want to accomplish.
Pros: Built-in speakers, Bright display, Inexpensive, Durable, Realistic color, Lightweight
Cons: could have come with a headset
I would recommend this to a friend!
