Low profile, strong suction, sleek design.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a pull-out hood with a very low profile when installed. You can only see about 1" of the face, unlike most other hoods. I looked long and hard to find a hood like this. The suction of this hood is very good. Cleaning the filters is easy. They are removable and can be washed in the sink. There are three different levels of exhaust suction, even the lowest setting is suitable for most kitchen tasks.
I like the brightness of the built-in lights. They have a warm color to them.

Light bulb broke within 1 hour of installation

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is an expensive pull-out hood. I love the form factor, but I am NOT impressed with the quality of the parts. Literally within the hour after installation one of the light bulbs failed. Who does something like this????

500 series exhaust hood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We did a lot of research on the above the cooktop hood we purchased. Our last hood honestly was worthless and I hit head on it because it was so low. The Bosch hood only sticks out from the cabinet above by less than 5 inches. We like the slide out feature as well. It does a very good job exhausting the smells from cooking. I would highly recommend this unit.

1. Prefer LED lighting in todays modern world.
2. Need 2-3 light settings, not one.

Love the hood, hate the lights.

Bosch 500 Series Pull-out Hood

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We were trying to stay with the same footprint of the very old and outdated pull-out that was in our home when we purchased it. This Bosch hood was the only one that we could find with the dimensions and small pull-out profile We wanted a hood that kept flush to the cabinet space, rather than anything that protruded out. This one was perfect! The installers had to make some addtional cuts to fit the unit into the cabinet space above the hood. It all worked out perfect! It provides good lighting and venting when pulled out. You can set the strength of venting or turn it off, and you can also turn on/off the light.We love it!

The hood with the goods!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical about this range hood, but very happy with the purchase. The sliding mechanism is taut and almost snaps between positions. The fan is strong and the lights are bright. Most surprising is that the filters were easy to remove and clean.

Perfect fit -- love the pull-out function!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had very specific parameters to fit the space for a vent hood in our remodel and this one is perfect. We needed it to vent out the back instead of up and we also wanted to minimize the space the vent took up in our smallish kitchen when the vent wasn't in use. This is a great solution!
