Cleans dishes well, nice and shiny. Takes 3 hours for "normal" cycle, however..

I bought this 1 month ago to replace my old Whirlpool Gold dishwasher, so I cannot comment on its durability, however it is extremely quiet. I'm disappointed that it does not have a "rinse and hold" option and the cycles run for two and one-half hours or more!

Easy to operate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I Replaced my old whirlpool with this new one and I am very satisfied with my purchase.Bad odor comes out of the machine when not used two or three days. I have to run the empty machine just to get rid of the smell.Why is the bad smell released when not used?

I have had this dishwasher for a little over a month. Very happy with it. I really like that the top rack can move up or down depending on how tall the dishes in the lower rack are. It has a lot of settings to choose from with different amounts of times to be completed for example to save energy and water it might take a little longer but there is a quick wash for those times when you need it in a hurry. The only feature I wish did a little better is the heat dry option most dishes are still quite wet when finished I know plastic dishes don't dry very well but this doesn't dry them at all.

Our stove died so we went to buy a new one, We bought a Whirlpool stove and I said we should consider a new dishwasher also as ours were 18 yrs old. I only wanted to do this project once. WHAT a GREAT decision. It is so quiet and does a super job.
