not real happy

My dishwasher does not dry the dishes well. I end up having to dry them.myself before I can put them away. Other than that , it is beautiful. I like silverware compartment on the door.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice, but...

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher performs well but run time seems excessive - 3 hours and 15 minutes on the Sensor cycle. Additionally, the rinse aid dispenser is poorly designed. The flip lid is easily inadvertently opened when placing silverware in the basket attached to the door. This allows the rinse aid to leak out wasting a good deal of a very expensive product.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great dishwasher

I love this dishwasher. It cleans so well and is sooo quiet. I love the silverware on the door, makes the whole dishwasher seem much bigger. Only problem I have had is getting the inside completely dry, even with rinseaid. I have to either prop the door open overnight or run it every other day or the water inside will cause it to smell. This is by far the best disheasher I have used though.

Super Quiet

We purchased this Whirlpool dishwasher about 1 month ago. We purchased it because we have owned 3 Whirlpool dishwashers before and never had an issue with any of them. We really like this unit and it is unbelievably quiet - but the only issue we have is that sometimes there is a lot of moisture left in the unit when finished. Even after using it exactly as instructed. We still like the unit a lot, just wish it would be totally dry inside when done - like all our other units in the past.

I have an open floor plan, and I am really happy that this dishwasher is so quiet!The glasses sparkle, and the silverware shines!Love this dishwasher!

easy choice of fixed cylces but not so easey to change cycle

I start using it a couple weeks ago. it works and cleans.the default is almost 4 hours. the sensor clean, the one hour wash and the 1 hr wash plus heat dry are very quiet. so quiet that I can carry conversation with my 90+year old mom at regular voice volume by the "running" washer or fall asleep in the living room 10' away from the dishwasherdisadvantage:- small not so bright display - need bright ambient light (like 180 W equiv) to see clearly- not so easy to change cycle option- no way to run just rinse cycle nor heat dry optionyou can choose whatever cycle option plus heat dry. However if you forget you need heat dry (like in the case of washing ventilation filter) and started washing, it's to bad, you will have to drain, stop, cancel operation somehow and then choose a new cycle, press heat dry, and then start.so if you discover too late after dispensing the detergent, you either waste detergent or waste even more energy to initiate a new new 1 hour wash+heat dry just to dry the filter for quick use.

I have been very happy with the Whirlpool Gold Series dishwasher I bought. Love all the features and find it very easy to load, even my larger dishes.
