Quiet and Excellent Cleaning

We replaced a 10 yr old GE dishwasher that was so loud you couldn't watch TV or have a conversation. The dishes had to be pretty clean before placing them in the dishwasher. The old dishwasher was mostly a rinse/sanitize cycle. This new Whirlpool is quiet and does a superb job of cleaning dried food and pans.

I bought this dishwasher about a month ago and am extremely pleased with its performance and quiet. Really happy i made this decision. Love the whirlpool product line.

We bought this to replace a 25 year old GE. The new one is far quieter but slower on normal cycle. Dishes are thoroughly cleaned except silverware with dried on cheese sauce. Negatives- filters that need cleaning but only monthly or so, wide handled flatware does not fit in basket slots, dish loading not orderly as in old one but capacity same. Positives- can find place for all dishes, very quiet as can only rarely hear water slosh, all but tallest wine glasses fit. Happy with price and would choose again.

Hope as long-lived as the other

My husband bought this a month ago, and I hope it lasts the 20plus years of our last Whirlpool dishwasher. Easy install, lots of sprayers, drain trap, and much quieter than the old--can't tell it's on without looking. Have used the light items clips, but avoid the silverware fold downs for more/thick-handled items. I only use the regular wash/dry as I thoroughly rinse dishes before putting in and therefore don't trust the autosensor, but it gets the dishes plenty clean/sterilized. Stainless-steel tub and nylon racks give me hope for durability, mechanical is good; we'll see how the computer board of everything now-a-days fares.
