Good dishwasher for the price.

The first machine we got had a huge dent in the side, even though the box looked perfect. We took it back and got a new one which was undamaged. The machine works well and has great features. It cleans much better than the one we replaced. Overall, we are pleased.

clean as a whistle

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great dishwasher. It is quiet, roomy, and effective. The only thing I would change is to make the heated dry and extra water on silverware standard on all washes. As it is, you can only use them on a 4 hour long cycle. When there is no baked on food, it should be possible to run shorter washes but still get silverware clean and use heated dry.

Quiet and Efficient

I purchased my Whirlpool dishwasher one month ago and just love it. It is so much quieter than my old dishwasher and is very efficient in cleaning all types of dishes, pots & pans and silverware. I would recommend it to anyone thinking of replacing their kitchen appliance.

Miss my Old Dishwasher

I owned a Whirlpool washer and dryer, as well as a Whirlpool Electric range. These appliances were 15-20 years old and served me very well.When I built my new house I decided to go with Whirlpool appliances.My dishwasher has poorly arranged interior. For cutlery I have what looks like a secret compartment, narrow and hard to reach. Racks are designed for size of dishes which I don't seem to have. My glasses don't seem to be the right size. They all come out soaking wet. I am using the dishwasher for storage and washing dishes by hand. What a bummer!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks great, cleans great & very quiet

I got this to replace a unit that came with a house we bought. It dries the dishes much better than my old unit. My old unit had residue on my daughters baby bottles, especially the rubber tops. This new dishwasher took the haze/film off them by cleaning them better. Very pleased so far with this unit and its extremely quiet.

Very quiet!

We've had our Whirlpool for a little over a month now and love it! We've only had one small issue and we think that may have been our fault.. It seemed as though the cycle had been cut short as the soap packet was still sitting at the bottom of the dishwasher half way dissolved. Only thing we can figure is the dishwasher was opened somewhere along the way and wasn't restarted correctly. Aside from that, it's wonderful! Convenient and easy to load and love the drying feature, works really well!

We replace a 10 year old Whirlpool that we thought was doingood work. I died and we replace it with the new Whirlpool and found that the quality of wash far exceeded what we thought was pretty goo. Very happy after one month.
