Quite and cleans

This dishwasher has made it easer to get clean dishes the first time. the silverware rack is a plus we load it on our counter top and at the end of day load in the washer so easy. this washer is so quite when we first ran it we had to open the door to see if it was running no more turning the tv up to hear it over dishwasher. the dishwasher is well built and cleans dishes well

Pros: Dishes do come out very clean, it's extremely quiet, and it's attractive.Cons: silverware basket is horrible, slots are too small and there are only 4 that fit knives from 2 different sets of silverware I have. Some spoons don't fit in the holes either. It's also very flimsy. The racks seem flimsy, too, and bottom one is constantly "falling" into the space between the door and body of the dishwasher (when door is down). Top rack has no extras like clips to hold small things like my last dishwasher had or a basket for small things and/or utensils. It doesn't seem to hold as much as my last one did, either. The normal cycle is over 3 hours, way too long.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Whisper Quiet!!

My old Kenmore was 19 years old and finally quit and this new Whirlpool is the replacement. I have to say, what a difference!! The Whirlpool is so quiet I can hardly tell it's working and if it wasn't for the front panel indicators, you'd never know it either?? I saved the insulation from my old one but threw it away as it was NOT needed!! Operation, water use, sani-cycle are all super features of this model and I cannot say enough about my pleasure with its performance, thank you!!

Purchased about 4 months ago. Does a great job. I do not run it everyday, but it gets loaded everyday. Cleans great everytime. I recommend this product.

3 Hours to Clean

The dishwasher is fantastic on the full clean cycle but it takes 3+ hours. I tried the 1 hour cycle and it leaves food particles on the silverware. The silverware holder is loose and half of it is not useable because it is under the detergent area. Large utensils must be placed on the racks.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

VERY quiet, with all of the wash/dry options you need. This dishwasher gets every dish, pan, plate, knife, fork really clean with no spots. I am totally satisfied with this Whirlpool product.

Replaced out Maytag with this model. This takes a long time to clean, and does not always getr them celan 1st cycle.
