Cleans Great - Quiet Operation

I have never had a dishwasher so I really don't have another product to compare it to, however, so far I'm extremely satisfied. It cleans exceptionally well and is very quiet when operating. The only feature I'm not happy with is where the rinse aid is added. It is nearly impossible to see the gauge and tell how full it is, therefore, on more than one occasion I've overfilled it, wasting the product. Don't let this keep you from purchasing the product, I just home Whirlpool goes back to the old style...it was a better working feature.

Our last dishwasher was a 54 year old harvest gold Whirlpool that was in our family home since 1961, finally it died. When the installers took it out he said it was one of the oldest ones he's ever seen. Since we had such good luck with the original one which worked perfectly we decided to go with another Whirlpool. This model works great it has adjustable shelves and stainless on the inside. Our dishes, crystal-clear we would recommend this to everyone looking for a quality product.

Sold on Whirlpool Dishwashers

This is my 3rd Whirlpool dishwasher. We recently purchased a house with an old dishwasher that was very noisy and it did not clean my dishes so I immediately went shopping for a new Whirlpool. I selected the Gold series with a stainless steel tub because it's the closest to my old Whirlpool in the house we sold. The racks are very sturdy and I love the utensil holder in the door. It's so quiet you have to check the controls on the front to know it's running. And it cleans my dishes exactly like I've come to expect from my Whirlpools. Highly recommend Whirlpool and will never own another brand.

I bought this washer a couple of weeks ago and installed myself. The washer works very well and the feature are useful . Only two issues: water connection required was not provided and no way of knowing the requirement until opening the box and reading the installation instructions. This required a return trip to the store. Unnecessary and very frustrating. Second, while the silverware compartment is nice to prevent nesting, the slots are small and limit the usefulness.

I bought the DW about a 3 weeks and it's a good buy. So far we used it about 3-4 times and it's extremely quiet compared to previous one. It does leave a some water on the dishes at the top - so place in correctly. Also - the cycles are longer but it's actually using less energy and water - so don't be surprised! Overall good buy!
