Great dishwasher

I don't give 5 stars to anything, but we are so impressed with our new dishwasher. We were faced with replacing the control panel for the third time or getting a new unit. So glad we decided to get this new Whirlpool machine. It cleans so much better than the old one and is very quiet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Extremely quiet

I specifically chose this product because it had a stainless steel interior, front panel controls, and a utensil basket in the door versus as part of the bottom rack. Its very simple to use, but has controls to easily alter wash/rinse/dry cycles. I prefer front controls so I don't have to open the door to change cycle. It is the quietest dishwasher I've ever owned. My only complaint is that the spring mechanism on the door is strong so opening the door to the flat position takes more effort than my previous Kenmore.

Cleans Very Well

I have had this dishwasher for about a month and I am completely satisfied with my purchase. It cleans very well- much better than my old dishwasher and it is very, very quiet. I like the adjustable rack on the top. I find that it is easy to load now that I am used to configuration of the racks, and although the silverware holder on the door seemed small to me at first, I now find that it is perfectly fine for my family of four. I also like the option for the 1 hour wash, the delay features that allow me run the dishwasher in the middle of the night, and I like that it was available in the the bisque color that I needed to match my other existing appliances. I really like this dishwasher and glad I purchased it.

Poor Drying

This unit is about 1.6 years old and had to have a repair soon after purchase because the heated drying did not work. The heated drying is now gone again and since it is now out of warranty I don't want to spend the cost of service figuring that this is a significant recurring problem so I will be buying a new and different brand.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice looking design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I hope that the new model lasts more than two and a half years. Our previous whirlpool's mother board needed to be replaced as well as a water pump motor. the bid on the cost of repair was more than the cost of purchasing a new dishwasher.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Best Dishwasher Ever

Love how quiet the dishwasher runs. Also, our previous dishwasher left the glasses and silverware spotted. This dishwasher leaves everything shining. I am thrilled. Because the silverware basket is on the door, there is more room for dishes and larger bowls.
