Unreliable: sump pump failed twice in 30 months

Sump pump failed the first time 14 months after I bough the machine. Whirlpool was considerate enough to replace it since the warranty was barely expired. However, 18 months after that the pump failed again. Called Whirlpool, since this is an ongoing, recurrent problem. They couldn't care less, like a broken record I heard that they couldn't help since I hadn't bought an extended warranty...
I wish they cared more about making reliable products which would exceptionally need an extended warranty, but not as frequently. Will never buy Whirlpool again.

Great features and quiet

Dishwasher with Total Coverage Spray Arm

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I don't use it often unfortunately so I needed service. I didn't know I have hard water and the minerals were building up and stopped the motor. It now works beautifully and I must find products that address the hard water situation.
