Good while it lasted, which wasn't long

We bought this dishwasher in February 2015. Like the silverware being able to go outside the bottom basket to create more room for dishes, the little fold down shelf in the top basket (perfect for long utensils or some additional small items). Cleaned dishes well...until the pump died July 2018. Appliances aren't built like they used to be, but 3.5 years is a ridiculously short amount of time.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Hard to find product since this very model (WDF 760) is no longer in production for canadian market (as october 2018). My new 760 have a very clean and nice visible front console which is a must for me. If you like to see the time left, It has to be visible, and NOT on top of the appliance with a hidden control console. The WDF 760 have EVERYTHING I like in a dishwasher. First, It is easier to load your silverware when the basket is in the door. In fact, this is the trademark of Whirlpool ! With this model, you have a unique silverware spray just above the basket and the results are better than my previous Whirlpool. If you don't like the basket in the door, you can put it in the side of the lower rack. My wife like the TargetClean feature. In fact, we were used with the former Whirlpool PowerScour option which was similar and could not live without it. Since I clean many things in my dishwasher, the removable top rack is genious. The sound level is about the same as my former dishwasher, a Whirlpool Quiet Partner IV, which is about 49dBA. The product lost a star for one reason : I hate the EZ-2-Lift Top Rack Adjuster. If I raise the rack, the left side does not stay up. Then I have to try it many times to lower the right side of the rack. All in all, it ain't easy at all. Maybe it is defective, I will have to investigate.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Bought this to replace a Kitchen-Aid dishwasher that lasted 14 years. So far, we are very happy with this... it gets the dishes clean with a minimum of noise.

Wish I had picked another brand

Just like KingofOmaha, I've had issues with the unit.
Replaced pump in October after just 2 years of ownership, and the unit is only used every 7-10 days, so not used heavily.
Leak from bottom of door has warped the wood floor in the dining room and ruined some panels in the suspended ceiling in the basement.
Only good thing about it is that it is quiet and cleans very well.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
