Really quiet but not the best at cleaning

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Generally I hate the way dishwashers fill the house with sound - this one does not. It is really quite quiet. I am somewhat disappointed with the overall cleaning - dishes need to be rinsed so well that I might as well hand wash them! This could be influenced more negatively because of the hard water in our city.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

wife was impressed with featurs and looks

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this two weeks ago. It had great reviews and the price was impressive compared to others. I like the features it has and the washing and spray nozzels inside the unit. All dishes come out very clean and the unit is very quiet

Frequent failure to clean dishes, breakdowns

I bought this dishwasher 3.5 years ago and it has had repeated failures. It has required service every year we have owned it and now the extended warranty is expired and it is once again not cleaning dishes. The soap tabs just sit in the bottom undissolved. Everything from the heater coil and solenoids to the computer board have quit working and required replacement. I will not buy Whirlpool again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Waste of money

We have had this dishwasher for a few years now and have had to replace the heating element multiple times. It doesn’t clean dishes well and never dries them regardless of what settings we use. Very disappointed with this dishwasher and will think twice about purchasing a whirlpool again.

Worth the change!

My old dishwasher wasn’t cleaning glasses and when the pump failed I figured it was time to change. I’m very impressed with how quiet it is and all the different features. Best of all it cleans my glasses!
