Does a great job only one glitch

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This dishwasher does a great job is quiet and has the in door silverware caddy which is a plus. The only thing I don't like is that the top rack adjustment is very sensitive and drops down if you lift at all when pulling the top rack forward. I am happy for the energy efficiency but the normal wash cycle is over 3 hours long.

Quiet runner

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This replaced a 30-yr-old Whirlpool dishwasher, and after a month's use, I'm very pleased with it. The "anyware" basket was the main reason I chose this model because the old unit had one. It is so quiet we can hardly hear it in the next room. The spray doesn't knock the dishes around like the old one did, yet it cleans well. I do have some problems positioning larger items (casseroles, bowls) due to the configuration of the tines, but that's a minor issue. Installers took only 40 mins. So far, so good.

Excellent Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had a Whirlpool dishwasher for 30 years and thought I would buy another one. So far I am not disappointed. Excellent cleaning and love the silverware basket in the door feature which frees up other space inside the dishwasher or larger items. We looked at many other brands but we kept coming back to Whirlpool because of the features, price, and our previous history with Whirlpool products. Hope this one lasts as long as our previous model. Oh by the way our 30 year old model still worked fine but we thought it was time to replace it before something went wrong.

Dishwasher

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had this dishwasher installed for about two weeks. It seems fine. This is the first time I have used the rinse stuff and I am still waiting to see if the little circle tells me when the holder is empty. The directions say this will happen. I am not pleased that most dishwashers (in fact almost all appliances) are controlled by computers. The last dishwasher I had washed the dishes fine but the computer part was no longer working correctly. I was the only one in my family able to make it work. I was told a non-computer controlled dishwasher would not be quiet, which this one is.I live in Hawaii and I have found that stainless steel appliance fronts can sometimes rust and that is way I got a black plastic front.
