Great dishwasher for a family with lots of dishes

Great features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like all the different options on this dishwasher. All my dishes get clean with no guessing games. I especially like the target clean feature that cleans casserole dishes. Very quiet when running.. Can't go wrong with this one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have no complaints about this dishwasher. The stainless steel interior keeps everything quiet and the silverware on the door with its own sprayer is a great feature. For the price i don't think you will find a better mid-range dishwasher.

Dishwasher review...I bought new WHIRLPOOL over the stove microwave, oven, dishwasher & fridge almost 3 years ago...biggest mistake as a first time home owner...& I paid for extended warranties on these products...so far I've had to replace the door & parts to the MICROWAVE because it errors and gives a message to open/close the door before heating up anything...happened within 6 months...replaced parts after instructions to unplug/replug failed...AGAIN, less than 6 months later same error message, left unplugged until repair guy came...it worked, so there was nothing that could be done...ok, worked a few months more & had SAME error message...left unplugged over night, worked for a couple months & then same error message...I bought my appliances NEW...again, microwave not working again...With the fridge, products never really seem frozen even after temperature is increased...ice bucket takes about 2 full days to refill itself & frozen foods are semi frozen...Im typically buying a 20lb bag of ice per week...dishwasher soap dispenser door was replaced in the first 6 months & only cleans the dishes when food is washed off prior to placing in the machine...even after trying multiple different cycles & dishwashing soaps...there are only 2 adults & 1 teen in the household using these appliances since purchased...older, previous fridge took up less space & held more items & after replacing appliances with EnergyStar rating, electric and water bills have increase...NEVER had any problems with old appliances that came with the purchase of the house.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It works great as far as cleaning the dishes. The two things I find disappointing about it are that the heat dry doesn't dry the dishes and the wash cycle is greater than 3 hours.

Nice & Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love how quiet this is & the extra spraying (top & bottom), adjustable shelves, & silverware rack on the door like my previous dishwasher (this saves so much space compared to silverware holders that sit inside on one of the racks). Seems to take longer than my previous dishwasher, but at least the dishes are clean. The inside of my previous Whirlpool Dishwasher has rusted out due to the hard water in our town. When I learned it would cost almost as much to replace the racks than to purchases a new Whirlpool Dishwasher, I decided to purchase a new one.

Pretty Good for the Price
