Poor design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Top rack gets caught on dish soap dispenser when opening door. Super annoying. Poor placement of dispenser.

Lots of features, poor silverware design

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We really like the dishwasher, and we were so excited to free up space in the bottom since the silverware compartment goes on the door. Unfortunately this seems to prohibit the silverware from getting really clean at times. Food particles often get stuck in the compartments. Other than that, we like the variety of settings.

Whirlpool Is Always My First Choice

However, I am very pleased with the function and options of this model. Whirlpool is a United States based company with manufacturing facilities in the USA which employ Americans. This fact coupled with my many years of using Whirlpool products makes Whirlpool my first choice when shopping for a new appliance.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Sleek and quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just moved into a new home and I upgraded to this machine because I did not like the reviews of their standard appliance. I am very happy with the machine. It cleans and dries, particularly plastic very well and it is quiet (hear it a little but that is good because my daughters machine is so quiet one will invariably open the machine when running. The one thing that I wish was different is the silverware basket. The holes for the silverware are different-smaller in the front and larger in the back. My silverware handles are bigger and they do not fit in the front holes. Why did you make them different sizes?
