Didn't realize how dirty my dishes were on old dishwasher until I saw how clean they are now with this new Whirlpool dishwasher.

I like this unit except for three things...The complete wash cycle on "regular" wash with "heat dry" takes approximately three hours according to the countdown on the door, the cabinet smells whenever rinsed dishes are in it waiting for a full tub, and the rinse aid filling hole (when unlocked) doesn't accept the liquid (great to have an indicator letting you know how much is in the rinse agent filler).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

One of the best dishwashers on the market

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had bought this dishwasher to replace a Jenn-Air that I have had for 12 years. The electronics in it was starting to screw up. I still wanted a stainless steel insert because it holds the heat better, looks really nice inside and it will last. I love all the washing arms especially the silverware sprayer. I love the quietness of it also. I would buy it again and recommend it to family and friends. It also matches my Whirlpool stove that I have. I just need a new Whirlpool Gold refrigerator.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The silverware drawer can lay flat against the door, which makes for some interesting loading challenges. It can also go into one of the racks for a more conventional configuration. Gets stemware spotlessly clean. Must use a rinse agent to ensure adequate drying. Nice unit.

Quiet dishwasher

Amazing Dishwasher with a few minor annoyances

Excellent dish washer, looks amazing with the rest of my stainless steel appliances. Only issues (and they're not really issues) are that it takes a long time for a cycle (upwards of three hours), and the dishes can never dry by themselves because the dishwasher gasket seals so we'll.
