Valuable work horse

Best bang for your buck. This dishwasher provides reliable results for our family of four. We fill this to capacity with dishes sometimes twice a day and run it without concern. Clean dish results are a given time and time again. I especially enjoy the vertical space for the bottom rack where large pots and pans are an easy fit. Programing features are easy and reliable as well. We have had no problems to date and are glad we made made this purchase.

I haven't tried all of the features but, the ones I have tried work well. Love the fact that I can hardly tell it's running, big difference in this one and my old Maytag.

Best dishwasher I've EVER owned!!!

After twenty five years of trouble free use with my old Whirlpool dishwasher, I decided it was time for an upgrade! Did I look at any other brand??? Yes, I did, but for the reputation and price value, I just couldn't justify buying any other brand. Who has a dishwasher that runs EVERY SINGLE DAY for twenty five years with not one service call??!! Anyway, I absolutely love my new Whirlpool Gold Series, with stainless steel insides. It's so quiet, I had no idea a dishwasher could be so quiet. Having an open kitchen/living/dining area, I really appreciate that we don't have to raise our voices to be heard. Wish I had done it sooner, is my only regret.

Clean machine

I purchased this dishwasher for the new home we built. It cleans effectively but I'm not satisfied with its ability to dry the load thoroughly. I find myself having to dry silverware after every use. Also have to dry out the dishwasher to avoid it getting smelly.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet machine but slow

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The dishwasher is quiet, BUT it is very slow. If you program normal cycle it takes 2 hrs. 25 min. Pots and Pans 3 hrs. 15 min. There is a quick one hour cycle. I would not select this model again. It also does not have air dry if you choose no heat.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We love our new dishwasher. It is so quiet when it runs. it also holds so much! Love the fact that the cycles are shorter. I have a friend who's dishwasher takes about 2 hours. So glad we chose Whirlpool. We're also getting a $50 rebate from our electric company. cha ching

Does a great job and is super quiet. Compared with a similar model by a competitor, we got more features for less money. I particularly like the silverware compartment being on the door freeing up space for more dishes.
