Great features

We bought this two weeks ago to replace one that we have used for 23 years. We are very pleased with how quiet this unit is. This model has a deep tub, holding more dishes and does a great job of cleaning - my SS flatware is looking like new. And it looks great, too.

Quiet and Clean

Bought this and had it installed a few weeks ago. Very quiet and cleans dishes well. We use the recommended Platinum Cascade packets and a drying agent...works great. Lots of options with loading configuration and even has an adjustable height option on the upper section for when extra tall dishes need to be loaded in the lower section. So far so good.

Silence is Golden!

I've had my Whirlpool Gold Series dishwasher for just over four months. As usual I did my on-line research and in-store visits prior to purchasing a major appliance. Since the dishwasher my Whirlpool Gold replaced was 13 years old, I practically washed the dishes as I loaded them into the old dishwasher. Old habits are hard to break, but to "test" my new dishwasher, I resisted the urge to rinse the dishes and loaded heavily soiled plates and pots, added detergent and rinse agent, selected the HEAVY wash, HEAT dry, and START. This particular cycles takes about 3 hours to complete. I reluctantly started the wash cycle at Noon while I was working from home at my kitchen table. I frequently walked over to the dishwasher to make sure the cycle was still operating since the noise level is nearly silent. I was seated about 8 or 9 feet away. I do not have to use the Delay Wash feature because of noise level...only for my convenience. I was also impressed by the CLEAN dishes as I removed them from the dishwasher, knowing how dirty/soiled they were. I frequently use the NORMAL and 1-HOUR wash cycles...which result in CLEAN dishes. I can easily have a conversation, watch TV or sleep WITHOUT NOISE DISTRACTION from this Whirlpool Gold Series Dishwasher. SILENCE is GOLDEN...!!!

Great for the price

It is a nice dishwasher. Silent, easy to use. Washes the dishes well. The door seems not so sturdy, when I wipe it, the upper steel cover feels very thin and humps and moves.The wash cycles are very long, mostly 2.5 hours or more, except there is a one-hour wash option. I use it every day, so far so good.

Quiet as a Mouse

This dishwasher is the most quiet thing I have ever had!Washes dishes very well. Only problem is on a normal cycle it takes 4 hrs, but it does have a 1 hr wash. Highly recommended to others!
