So quiet that I thought it wasn't working!

I bought this a month ago to replace a 23-year-old KitchenAid that was on its last leg. I love the stainless steel tub, and the "TargetClean" jets at the back are great. It is a wonderful unit, a great value, and I look forward to it lasting 23 years.

I am extremely pleased with my new Whirlpool. It cleans everything sparkling. The dishwasher is extremely quiet. The cycle timer is very important.

We have had this dishwasher for about a month so far and have been very pleased with our purchase thus far. The dishwasher is much quieter than our old one, although I can hear it running. The dishwasher basket (which was a negative for some reviews I read) has not been a problem for us. I really like the adjustable top rack and stainless steel interior.Really love Whirlpool stuff, I've got a washer and dryer set that is at least 25 years old and still chugging along with no issues.

The only plus is that it's very quiet. Planning to return it--just waiting for a service representative to look into our concerns. Does not dry well--water left on walls of dishwasher and upper rack items--seems like it doesn't get hot enough. Silverware bin hooked to the front door doesn't get the flatware clean--so we moved it inside the dishwasher area.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] My new dishwasher exceeded my expectations ~ so quiet that I forget it is on. My dishes and glasses come out SPARKLING for the first time in 45 years of owning other brands of dishwashers. I'm extremely happy with my purchase, and find myself looking around for things to put in my dishwasher just to see how clean they come out. Amazing machine!
