High performance for a good price

We bought this dishwasher about 3 weeks ago, because we were fed up with our builder grade dishwasher. I was seeking a dishwasher that did not have the silverware tray in the bottom rack (I wanted one that had it on the door, which reduced our options).My husband happened to see this one. The silverware tray is on the door, but can also be hooked to the bottom rack of the dishwasher, which is very handy for loading or unloading. It has a target sprayer specifically for the silverware, too. The bottom rack, is now free from the silverware tray, and it also does not have the square section in the center cut out for the sprayer, so it allows for more dishes or awkwardly shaped pots, pans, or casserole dishes to fit.The top rack is adjustable height, and our wine glasses with stem fit nicely. There is a second sprayer (or third, depending on how you look at it, if you include the one for the silverware) on the bottom of the top rack. It also has one on the top of the dishwasher, as well (so there are technically four sprayers in this dishwasher).This model runs quietly, compared to our old one. We can barely hear this run. Our dishes in our old dishwasher constantly came out with little specks of detergent or food or whatever - even after pre-washing the dishes, and thoroughly cleaning the unit. This dishwasher leaves the dishes sparkling clean, with no detergent residue. We only have been rinsing off the dishes before putting in, instead of pre-washing. We have tried all the cleaning cycles and our dishes come out incredibly clean no matter which cycle.We picked the stainless steel model versus white or black. We were originally disappointed because there was a large stain on the front after we unboxed it. However, we purchased stainless steel cleaner, and this mark came right off. The finish is beautiful, both inside and out.TLDR; Awesome dishwasher. Dishes come out clean, unit is quiet. Would recommend.

Impressively Quiet

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Totally impressed with our new dishwasher. Like the way it stores the dishes and how the sensor mode gets everything really clean. Best of all is the quiet. Can put it on anytime day or night!!!

Replaced Recalled Maytag that was a fire hazard

Purchased because the recalled unit. Whirlpool provided a cash refund to offset the cost of new unit. New dishwasher is much quieter but the cycles are much longer. Does a good job cleaning the dishes but have to use the power dry option to avoid wet/spotted dishes. Seems to be a great washer but don't care for the European energy efficient wash cycle

Gold Dishwasher Rocks

Just bought this to replace our 20 year old Kitchen Aid. Man is this thing quite compared to our old one. The dishes come out crystal clear.
