This dishwasher is great, it's very quiet and clean well. Sometimes I will start it and walk away, then I'll come back and have to check that I started it.

Nice but not perfect

I've had this unit a few months now and it replaced a Kenmore Elite unit that died way too soon. I like my new Whirlpool unit for the most part, as it cleans well and is relatively quiet. But I do not like the silverware holder as it is way too narrow and has a very limited capacity---simply not realistic. Also, the cover latch for the rinse agent spontaneously opens up almost every time you open the dishwasher---annoying design or QC flaw. While this unit meets the needs of my small household for the most part, I would think this model might not provide enough capacity for a bigger household.

Whirlpool Gold dishwasher

Ths dishwasher does not get the dishes clean. I used the recommended dishwasher detergent. The detergent doesn't dissolve properly leaving a white film on the bottom of the diswasher. Very disappointed.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Very Quiet machine, easy to use

We've only had this dishwasher for a month or two but really like to so far. It cleans very well with the one hour mode. The moveable utensil rack is very handy and fits well on the door.The only drawback is I wish there was a shorter wash cycle for small loads. One hour seems a bit much.The quietness of the dishwasher really surprised us. We had to check to see if it was running.

I bought this dishwasher about a month ago and absolutely love it! It gets the dishes clean and it is so quiet that you do not notice it is running at all.
