I bought it a month ago and I am still amazed at how quiet it runs. My last dishwasher was also a whirlpool but 10 years old. Greatly improved in 10 years.

We bought our whirlpool after our other brand dishwasher leaked and wrecked our flooring. We are so happy with our new purchase. My husband even brought a clean wine glass to me to show me how crystal clean it was. If he noticed, well, it must of been sparkling.

The top rack is hard to get snapped into the water feeds at the back of the dishwasher when rack is full of heavy dishes. Also, the soap pods don't dissolve all the way and lay at the bottom of the dishwasher. I had a Kenmore for 10 years that worked better.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this dishwasher towards the end of 2014 wish I had done more research on the whirlpool appliances I purchased but that is on me. You get what you pay for.

Love my new dishwasher!

I suffered for nine years with a dishwasher I hated, but it came with the house and it worked so I didn't feel I should spend the money on a new one. Well, I finally decided to stop waiting for it to break and got a Whirlpool. I'd had a Whirlpool dishwasher in a past home, and liked it so went back to the brand.I'm so glad I finally broke down and bought this machine. It's extremely quiet and does a great job of getting things clean. No more getting things clean before they go in the dishwasher! My dishes haven't been this shiny in ages. And I can't believe how nice my pots and pans come out.The only thing I don't like is the top rack. I wish the bottom of it was flat, but the ridged top rack seems to be the fashion for all the brands now. I found it easier to load and accomodate odd shapes when the rack was flat.

I love that the washer is quiet The silverware tray is ackward and we have moved it from the door to just inside on the bottom drawer. there are so many clips and fold-down pieces that we don't know how to use and the literature doesnot mention them. Will have to return to the dealer and see if they know how to use them. All-in-all I do like it now that I am more used to it.
