Left me wanting...

I am a bit disappointed in this dishwasher. The cleaning cycles seem way long! Over 3 hours a cycle? There is a 1 hr cycle but, it doesn't include drying and you can't add a drying cycle to it. There is even a 7 hr cycle! Seriously? The other problem I have found with this dishwasher is the drying cycle. It doesn't dry the silverware basket! I have to either put my silverware away wet or wait for them to air dry. We are careful to rinse our dishes pretty thoroughly before we put them in the dishwasher but, man, this dishwasher holds odors! It always stinks! We have had this dishwasher for 1 month. The only good aspects of it are, it looks nice and it is quiet. Overall, I am bummed that I am stuck with this dishwasher for the next decade or so!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Flat bottom plastics are Dry!!

Using a four hour cycle which includes sani rinse, heat dry, and high temp wash, this dishwasher does a wonderful job. The front controls are easy to use. The silverware basket can be put on the door, but a front position in the bottom rack is best so that everything gets dried. Use a rinse aid such as Oxiclean Triple Action Booster so the dishes come out dry and silky feeling. This dishwasher is super quiet. If installing yourself, you will need to purchase an elbow compression hose fitting to attatch the water line and a metallic strain relief to secure wiring to the box.

versatile dishwashing

I searched for a dishwasher that had spindles that would fold down. Not many brands have that feature, yet it is SO practical! Thank you for making a model with the folding spindles. One thing that I'm not used to yet is the length of the wash cycle. 3 hours for a basic run is WAY longer than it needs to be. The owners manual says that it is because it is a high efficiency washer. That just seems incongruous to me. So I am running it every time on the 1 hour wash cycle with heated dry. That is the only thing that I would change about this appliance. Everything else has been great so far. Oh, it is SUPER quiet too. I love that!

Very quiet, cleans dishes very well. There are many useful options for cycle choices. Really like the adjustable rack height and the holder for stemware.

Is this thing running?

I've had this dishwasher for a few weeks now and it is so quiet that I don't know it is running. It does it's job cleaning dishes. As for the long run time after choosing extra options (4 hours), who cares how long it takes. There is an option for a 1 hour wash and that works great to, but uses a few more gallons of water. So far so good. My old dishwasher just needed a new printed circuit for the controls but that part would have costed $140. Not worth fixing a 4 year old unit.

It is good, economic green design. Cycle time are too long and dishes are not dried even after heated dry cycle.
