It works great, except it doesn't dry the silverware. When it is done washing and says "clean", I open the door and steam pours out and some thing are still wet. I think because the silverware is in the door instead of in the rack, it doesn't get real dry.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not that this should be the end all be all but MADE IN AMERICA! Love the quiet operation of this dishwasher! This model has tons of room, cleans well, and has made cleaning dishes much easier. Tons of modes to clean dishes with nothing left on them. Drying is decent and much better than the 12 year old unit it replaced. I will say that the silverware basket does not secure very well but when loaded hasn't been a concern.
I would recommend this to a friend!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this dishwasher right before Easter. It's been up and running for over a week since I was waiting for new counters before installing completely. It took a few tries to determine which cycle works best and since than it's been great. I have put frying pans and pots in and all get completely clean. I have not had a dishwasher in over 15 years and so far this one it great. I like having the stainless steel tub because it is quieter.

I bought this a few weeks ago when our old dishwasher stopped heating water and drying. It was a snap decision because I was in a rush but I'm very happy with it so far. It's very quiet. The black on the kickplate and the dark grey on the panel helps tie it in to our black appliances.

Outstanding Dishwasher!!!!

This is the top of the line Whirlpool Gold. After leaving Whirlpool for another brand that cost almost double the price of this one four years ago, I am back with this Whirlpool model. It cleans and dries the dishes sparkling clean and really dries them. This is the best design I have ever owned. I regularly use the Heavy Cycle with all the wash features pushed except TargetClean on most washes. The TargetClean feature is only needed on baking and broiling pans that need to be targeted with jets. The dishwasher is not overly high tech making it outstanding to me. I highly recommend.

We wanted to upgrade all of our appliances to the newer models....what a wonderful decision on the dishwasher.....we love the new jets that have been added to the newer model.....thank you for your continued support and innovation!
